Wagd
The Wagd product enables dog-owners to monitor and reduce their dogs' anxiety levels. This is done by a three-part system that includes: a collar monitor to assess real-time physiological measures; a smart-bed that can deliver dog-appeasing pheromones, calming music, and/or a soothing heartbeat; and, a mobile application that both conveys anxiety metrics to the owners, and offers remote control over the smart-bed
The product was part of a 2014 CMU IPD class project sponsored by Jarden Cooperation. Team members include: Aaron McDaniel, Elizabeth Herlin, Gary Cheng, Neel Kishan, Peeyush Goyal, and Xinwei Yan and I.I was responsible for the mechanical design. All CAD shown was designed and built by me. Renderings are done by Elizabeth.
