UX RADIO

Addressing a cause-and-effect disconnect in today’s digital radio user interface, I designed, built, and programmed a working radio that was intuitive enough for my three-year-old son at the time to control. To use, place the square block in one of the plank's rectangular recesses to turn on and select the channel. Slide the top plank the entire length to adjust volume. The radio exterior is made from walnut wood, acrylic, and copper sheets. The radio is powered by an Andrio micro-controller and circuit assembly.
